Ireland: Songs to premiere on 9th February

It has been announced this afternoon by radio presenter Derek Mooney that the competing songs in this year’s Eurosong will be presented for the first time during his RTE radio show Mooney on Thursday 9th February.

The Irish broadcaster RTÉ have kept silent on who will be participating in this year’s National Final although an official announcement is expected imminently.

It was also decided today that Ireland would perform in the 1st Semi Final of this year’s contest on Tuesday 22nd May.
