Sweden: The stage of Melodifestivalen 2012

SVT has just revealed how is the Melodifestivalen 2012 going to look like. The theme this year is Trees and Amusement Park.

SVT’s idea was to make a unique stage for every one of the 32 participants this year. The designer of the stage, Viktor Brattström, says that he had many inspirational images including architectual tree forms, so he decided to create a “futuristic amusement park”. The stage is linked to the green-room by a long catwalk.

Artists will be able to choose the lightning effects on the ceiling, and in the background of the stage, in all possible shades. Viktor Brattström is the man who constructed the Melodifestivalen stage every year since 2007.
