Hungary: Compact Disco to Baku

Tonight the Hungarian national final, A Dal, took place.

First, we can announce some details on the selection procedure for Hungary in the next years: A Dal will be continued.
The winner of A Dal will be in the jury the year after.

Eight songs were performed, of which four qualfied for a superfinal through televote. The ones in bold qualified.

  • Caramel – Vertigo
  • Compact Disco – Sound Of Our Hearts
  • Gabi Tóth - Please Don’t Say Me
  • Gábor Heincz – Learning To Let Go
  • Juli Fábián & Zoohacker - Like A Child
  • Nika – This Love
  • The Kiralys – Untried
  • Tibi Gyurcsik – Back In Place

After announcing the superfinalists, each jury member announced their personal fave. The one with most votes from the jury would win A Dal. The results of that voting are below:

  • Jenő Csiszár: Compact Disco
  • Philip Rákay: Caramel
  • Kati Wolf: Compact Disco
  • Viktor Rakonczai: Gábor Heincz

This meant that Compact Disco won the national final and will go to Baku. Watch their performance below:
