Croatia: Feminnem split up

The popular Bosnian and Croatian female group, Feminnem, announced that they are splitting up, and that all three girls will now “go her own way”. The reason for splitting up are not arguments, and the girls say that they will still remain friends.

Nika Antolos, the youngest member of Feminnem says that Pamela has a special characteristic which does not fit Feminnem. Nika also says that she loves r’n'b music, and that she wants to start working in that direction. She is also moving to Moscow, and starting a life together with her boyfriend. She wants to start studying there, either acting or languages.

Pamela Ramljak says that she thinks this is for the best – it started when Nika said that she will be spending more time in Moscow than Zagreb, and the girls then decided that they shouldn’t stress their manager and their record label with something they can’t pay much attention to. She also adds that the three girls are still very good friends, and that they will keep going to the movies, cafes, etc.

Neda Parmać is the only one who says she is not sure what to do next. She says she was living in the group Feminnem, and put her career and the group in front of everything else. She says that being a member of Feminnem was never a job for her, and she didn’t see it as a project. She says she is stressed, and is now waiting for her emotions to “go back to normal”, to see what to do next, and where to continue.

Feminnem were competing twice in Eurovision – first they represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2005 with “Call Me”, finishing 14th in the final, and then in 2010 they represented Croatia with “Lako je sve”, and failed to reach the final.
