The TV Director General is now on stage… this looks like the moment of truth
For some reason, we’re now seeing the six-minute introduction video, from the start of the show, again
Sabina has thanked everyone, and said how she loves being in Georgia
Whilst your watching, an alleged demo version of Rambo Amadeus’ song has gone online here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qou1Z4lowN4&feature=youtu.be
Now time for Sabina from Azerbaijan
Oh, they remembered!
So those were the nine songs- the public and a jury will decide the outcome… time for a recap first though
REMA - Feel Me
The penultimate entry, “Feel Me” by the band REMA, is a slower rock entry. There are the usual three guitars and drums on stage, and dreadlocks look very much to be the ‘in’ fashion at the moment in Tbilisi. The lead singer messes up the vocals quite badly on the bridge, which wasn’t disguised by some the fire effect starting.
Vanilla Cage – Breaking The Cage
Back to rock for song seven, courtesy of Vanilla Cage. Their song is called “Break the cage”, and also has some pretty screechy vocals to go with the guitars and drums. There are also some parts of the lyrics that are more rapped than sung, making this a very diverse entry.
Edward Tatiani – Hey You
The half-way point in this nine song final is marked by the arrival of Edward Tatiani. His dance song is entitled “Hey you”, and he certainly fancies himself tonight. He’s joined by a female vocalist, and two other male backing singers. There’s a break halfway through for some rap by one of the backing singers, before the pyrotechnics start and the chorus is repeated again.
Industrial City – Broken
It’s more of the same from song number three, which is “Broken” performed by Industrial City. Lots of head-banging going on behind the lead singer by the two guitarists, drummer, and keyboard player. The lead vocal is very shouty, which adds in to the atmosphere of the song.
We’re now being introduced to the jury who will have 50% of the vote
As an introduction, we’re getting a look back at all of Georgia’s entries since their debut in 2007
Welcome along to Tbilisi for the Georgian National final.
