Malta: Kurt Calleja wins the Maltese ticket to Baku!

After a marathon national final that spanned almost four hours, Kurt Calleja has won the chance to represent the tiny island nation at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Azerbaijan.

Kurt and his song ‘This Is The Night’ was the winner in a close race in which second and third place went to Claudia Faniello and Amber. respectively.

Special guests on the show included French singer Anggun, Glen Vella and 2011 Eurovision winners Ell & Nikki who performed both together and solo.
