Moldova: Nelly Ciobanu withdraws

Nelly Ciobanu, who represented Moldova in 2009 and also qualified for this year’s Moldovan national selection with the song “Turn on the light”, withdrew from the national selection, for personal reasons. TRM held the draw of the running order today, and they also announced that Nelly’s replacement in the national selection will be announced as soon as possible.

Moldovan national final called “O melodie pentru Europa” will take place on the 11th of March, starting at 18:30 CET. All the contestants will sing live, and the winner will be chosen by 50% televoting + 50% jury votes.
