Italy: Nina Zilli to Baku

After five days of the Sanremo Festival, RAI announced Nina Zilli as their entrant for Baku. Her song is not yet known, but it could be her Sanremo entry.

Nina participated in the Main category with her song Per Sempre, where she reached the last night, but didn’t manage to score a top six position.

Last year Italy made a comeback to the contest after staying home for fourteen year. Despite low viewing figures, Italy decided to stay in the contest in 2012 after scoring their highest amount of points ever: Raphael Gualazzi came second with Madness Of Love, a jazz song.
