Litesound, the band who will represent Belarus at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest have begun shooting the music video to their Eurovision entry ‘We are the Heroes’.
The film clip has been described as full of action in which we witness the destruction and salvation of Earth filled with disasters, explosions, real pictures, special effects and of course love. The band said that they want this to look not like a simple filmclip but a real Hollywood blockbuster.
Litesound are one of the few acts from Belarus who composed their entry entirely themselves, but are also the first to direct and act in their clip themselves. Lead singer Dmitry Karkarin said that “We are making everything ourself because we wrote this song and we know what we want to show in it, so that’s why now we are making our idea into life. I hope it will be a good surprise to our international fans and they will watch and enjoy our filmclip immensely.”
In order to achieve this blockbuster of a filmclip, Dmitry added that “We have had a lot of help from the Ministry of Emergency Situations who are big professionals who have helped us make really great things. You will see incredible pictures that include a lot of special effects and locations – all this help that we even can’t describe and this all will make a real disaster movie but with good end.”
The film clip for ‘We are the Heroes’ will première later this month.
