After months of planning and preparation, the time has finally arrived for us to say goodbye to our daily lives for the next two weeks and let the Eurovision roller coaster take over!
The escXtra team began arriving in Baku yesterday with more due to arrive over the course of this weekend, just in time for when first rehearsals kick off on Sunday when acts from the first half of the 1st Semi Final will take to the stage at the Baku Crystal Hall.
escXtra.com will be on hand every step of the way during the next 14 days, providing you with a constant stream of updates and footage from the rehearsals and press conferences. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect from us over the course of our stay;
Daily Rehearsal Reports
We will be live blogging (in real time!) direct from the arena keeping you in the know on what sounds good, who’s wearing what and where we think each country is going to place in the live shows.
Rehearsal Videos
We understand that our opinion may not be enough to sway you, so we’ll be letting you see for yourself how things are going with full length videos from the rehearsals.
Interviews
As well as writing about the acts, we’ll be catching up with them at any chance we can. You’ll be able to watch them right here or via our YouTube channel.
Live Streaming from the Press Centre
We’ll have live streaming direct from the Press Centre each day during rehearsals so you’ll be able to both watch and chat with us
Xtra|time
When the rehearsals die down for the day, we’ll be giving you a little bit xtra with our post-rehearsal show where our editors and some guests share their thought’s on the day’s rehearsals.
We hope you enjoy our coverage… let the fun begin!
