Baku 2012: Eurovision winners to perform in Semi Final 2
Eldar and Nigar, Lena, Alexander Rybak, Dima Bilan and Marija Serifovic return
It has just been announced that Eurovision winners of the past five years will return to the Eurovision stage as the interval act for the 2nd Semi Final of this year’s contest which will take place in just two weeks.
Eldar and Nigar (Azerbaijan 2011), Lena (Germany 2010), Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), Dima Bilan (Russia 2008) and Marija Serifovic (Serbia 2007) will all perform on stage together accompanied by a group specialising in traditional music from the host country Azerbaijan.
The live performance will take place during the voting period of the 2nd Semi Final on Thursday 24th May with the acts expected to arrive in Baku on 18th May.
