Romania: Mandinga return to Azerbaijan

Romanian representatives Mandinga have returned to Azerbaijan to give two concerts, including one tomorrow (Wednesday) night featuring former Azeri contestants Sabina Babayeva (2012), Nikki (2011) and Safura (2010) expected to attract over 20,000 to Baku’s New Park. Mandinga are the only group from outside Azerbaijan who will feature in the concert. They will also give another concert at a private diplomatic function, with both concerts set to feature the band performing songs from their new album Club de Mandinga.

Mandinga represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, where they finished in 13th place with their uptempo dance song Zaleilah.
