One more country has confirmed their participation in Eurovision 2013 in Malmö, making it a total of 25 countries which already confirmed their participation. The latest country to confirm it’s presence in Malmö is Lithuania.
Lithuania were also happy with the achieved result this year. The national broadcaster has also announced that a national final is going to be held next year as well, where the Lithuanian entry is going to be chosen. The format is yet to be discussed.
In the last two years, Lithuania had series of semi finals where a 50-50% mix of jury and televoting decided on who will qualify for the final. In the final night, there were two rounds of voting – the first one to determine the super-finalists (chosen by 50% televoting + 50% jury votes), and the second to choose the winner (100% jury).
