Armenia: Filming of “Yerevan: Fans’ City” Complete

Armenian fans tell about their Junior Eurovision experience

Armenian fans of Eurovision have made their latest film, telling the world about their impressions from the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011, which was held in Armenia.

On the first day of shooting they made a small video with Dalita, the representative of Armenia in Junior Eurovision 2011. Fans are supporting their favourite singer with their dances. Gohar Gasparian, the Head of the Armenian delegation, was present during the shooting and had her contribution to the film. She greeted all the fans and also awarded them certificates of their participation in the shooting. She also has her small part in the video. On the second day of the shooting the fans were pretty tired but didn’t give up as they had their mission. Each of the fans had a small part in the video just telling about their impressions. The film also includes a small part from the Netherlands. The Dutch fans of Eurovision have also made their small video about their country and mainly about Amsterdam, which will be the host city of the Junior Eurovision 2012.

The film is directed by Karen Khontyan, who also made the previous two films about Junior Eurovision in Armenia. As he says, the film will be ready by the 15 August. It contains many surprises for fans and people who love Junior Eurovision.
