Turkey: Participation in 2013 confirmed
Another country confirmed for Malmö
Following several countries in the past few weeks, Turkey have now confirmed participation for next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
TRT confirmed this morning via Twitter to one of our editors that they will be taking part in next year’s contest which was announced days ago to be taking place in Malmö.
The news is unsurprising as Turkey have now participated in every contest continuously since 1995 although failed to qualify from the semi final for the first time in 2011. Most recently, They reached 7th place in this year’s contest with Love Me Back performed by alternative singer Can Bonomo.
It is currently unclear how TRT will select their artist for 2013 although as with previous years, an internal selection seems most likely.
