Change of venue as well

The final of Finland’s national final, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, will take place on Saturday 9 February, YLE have just announced.

In a change to last year, where the final came from Helsinki, the competition will take place in the neighbouring city of Espoo at the Barona Areena- currently used as the home of the Espoo Blues ice hockey team and seats around 7,000. Tickers for the show will go on sale on 8 October.

Submissions for this year’s national final can be sent as on next Monday, 3 September.
