Moldova: Junior Eurovision participation confirmed?

Despite earlier reports about their withdrawal from the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012, ESCKaz now reports that TRM has confirmed its participation after all.

ESCKaz adds that lengthy negotiations were necessary for Moldova in order to confirm their participation. It will be the third Moldovan participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their first two participations both ended up in a top ten result, first in 2010 when Ştefăn Roşcovan finished eighth with his song Ali Baba. Last year, Moldova was represented by Lerika and her song No, No, finishing sixth.

No announcement has been made about how TRM will select its artist or song for this year’s Junior Eurovision.
