Sweden: Ulrik travels to Tokyo

Young Swedish singer-songwriter Ulrik Munther is currently in Japan to promote the release of his self-titled début album. The 18 year old has experienced a metioric rise to fame over the past three years; winning MGP Nordic in 2009, having a #1 album in Sweden, now certified Gold, and two hit singles, both also certified as Gold. Ulrik is now taking his music to Asia.

Today, Ulrik was on Japanese TV, radio and in various media publications. He also has his own TV show for Sweden being filmed in Japan.

His CD sits pride of place alongside worldwide phenomena such as One Direction and Justin Bieber in Japanese record stores.

“Ulrik Munther” is released on August 18 in Japan.
