Belgium: RTBF confirms participation in Malmö

The French broadcaster in Belgium responsible for the Belgian Eurovision entry in 2013 has confirmed that they will be present in Malmö. The method of choosing an entry is yet to be announced.

The previous Belgian entry chosen by the French broadcaster RTBF was last year, when Witloof Bay represented Belgium, and missed the final by a single point. Belgium then organized a big national selection with preliminary rounds on the Internet, a radio semi final, and a televised final where the winner was chosen by 50% jury + 50% televoting. It is yet unknown if the broadcaster will go for a national selection again, or if they will go internally.

Iris represented Belgium in Baku with “Would You?”, finishing 17th in the semi final, out of 18.
