Cyprus: ‘An Me Thimase’ presented

Greek ballad for Cyprus

In a press conference, broadcast by CyBC, the Cypriot entry for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest has been presented. The song, An Me Thimase, is a ballad in Greek. The title can be translated as ‘If You Remember Me’.

37 year old Despina Olympiou was internally selected to represent Cyprus in Malmö. The song was composed by Andreas Giorgallis, with lyrics by Zenon Zindilis. The song is a typical ballad with some Greek ethnic elements in the background.
