Last night, Serbia whittled their list of potential representatives in Malmö down to just five. One of these songs will go forward as the Serbian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. Competing for the right to represent Serbia are:
Moje 3 received 25959 votes, Dušan Svilar got 20298 votes.
The winner is Moje 3 with “Ljubav je svuda”. Dušan Svilar came second with “Spas”, Saška Janković was third with “Duga u tvojim očima”. Marija Mihajlović finished fourth with “Halo” and in fifth place was SKY’s and “Magija”.
So here we have the result…
Finally, we’re back with our host.
There’s another break for advertisements in Serbia now.
Another interval act now! It has been nearly 40 minutes since the lines closed in Serbia so hopefully we are close to a result.

Into the green room now with the artists!
No wonder it’s all a little random.
I believe these are all performances from the finalists in Serbia’s Got Talent!
And now some football juggling… I now have no idea what Serbia are doing with these random interval acts tonight!
Beyoncé’s “Listen” is now being performed by another female vocalist, a very young one this time!
I believe this is being sung by our host Maja Nikolić!
“The Lady is a Tramp” is our next interval tonight!
Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida” is the soundtrack this time as the dancers return to treat us to some more entertainment.
Our host thanks the RTS Big Band for their medley of Serbia’s Eurovision hits!
A very nice interval there!
Now a jazz version of “Molitva”
or should I say “Čaroban”!
Then merged into “Oro” before moving onto “Caroban”
They’re performing “Lane moje”
The brass band are back for our second interval act tonight.
Lines are now closed in Serbia!

Just as I say that, we’re greeted with another recap to allow you to make your mind up for which song to vote for in Serbia tonight!
Just three minutes left to vote!
We’re now treated to “Molitva” by Marija Serifovic, the winning song in 2007.
7 minutes left to vote in Serbia!
Thank you for your tweets so far! @Maikeeel, @MarianneCH_TF and @tolgahanmusic say Dušan Svilar is their favourite tonight. However, @Djole1603 and @tolgahanmusic (again!) say Moje 3 is their favourite. @RenageNL believes that Marija should win though! Keep tweeting me your thoughts!
As the lines open, we get a recap of the performances tonight.
Into the greenroom where our two hosts there are interviewing the artists.
Feel free to tweet me your views @escXtra #Beosong
So that’s all the performances tonight!
To start this track, the vocal is very quiet and a little weak. As the tempo rises, the vocals seem to gain some confidence. The performance here is a little bit of a mess though, I wonder who chose their outfits… Their three vocals are all so different that it’s a surprise that they all gel well when they sing together in the chorus. The high note before the final chorus was missed painfully but the rest of the vocals seem to be okay.
The final performance tonight comes from Moje 3 who sing “Ljubav je svuda”.
Backed by a pianist and two backing singers, Marija sits on a stool in the centre of the stage and let’s her vocal flow freely. This piano ballad is delivered delicately and carefully but it comes across well. Marija gets up and walks towards the front of the stage which allows her to belt out her notes even better than she was before. An outstanding vocal here which I imagine would sound even better in the studio or even at the Malmö Arena! The backing singers move forward to join Marija for the final chorus. Almost comes to a close too soon though, wish it was longer! Very beautifully performed.
Marija Mihajlović and her song “Halo” is our fourth tonight.
Two backing instrumentalists and two dancers accompany Dušan Svilar for this ethnic tinted ballad. Another instrumentalist joins the stage after the chorus… he climbs over the outskirts of the stage rather awkwardly which I found a little distracting. However, there’s many positives about this. The vocal is extremely strong and the instrumental itself is rather pleasant. Dušan removes one of his in-ear pieces in order to hear himself better for the second chorus and it pays off as his hits every single note without doubt. Ends with a lovely long and powerful note!
Nemanja Vidic, Manchester United FC defender, is the third postcard tonight introducing Dušan Svilar and “Spas”.
The girls launch into this high energy pop number from their door frames! Finally in the second verse they break free of their doorways and interact with each other. The song is delivered with good vocals and it looks like they’re enjoying themselves on the stage! It lacks something however and I hope if this wins that they would add three extra dancers to the performance.
Second up tonight is “Magija” by SKY’s!
Wearing what I can only describe as a bit of a hideous outfit, in my opinion, she is flanked by a double bass player as she begins her ballad with a nice controlled vocal. The keychange came in with no need for introduction and her vocal didn’t suffer at all. Saška has a really nice voice which really suits this song tonight. A great final note.
We start with Saška Janković, “Duga u tvojim očima”.
So the first postcard tonight features former tennis world number one and multiple grand slam champion, Novak Djokovic!
and we’re back!
And I believe we’ve cut to our first advertisement break of the night!
Colourful is probably the best adjective to use here!
Throughout the show tonight, tweet us your thoughts @escxtra #beosong
Now a look behind the scenes of Beosong 2013!
Our presenters backstage are talking us through the suitcase that someone, I presume, will be taking to Malmö…
La Luna – Dream Team are now dancing to “Euphoria” by Loreen, the song which took the contest to Malmö this year!
The show opens tonight with a live brass band performing the Eurovision theme!
I’m just waiting for the stream to start and the show to begin!

We’re just moments away from the show beginning in Belgrade! Maja Nikolić is tonight’s host but there will also be Gorica Nešović and Dragan Ilić backstage!
The girls are now singing their song “Ljubav je svuda” again.
