As the second country in Europe, Germany will start its own series of The Voice Kids. In this programme, children will be judged and mentored by one of three German musicians. It was revealed today that Lena Meyer-Landrut, the 2010 Eurovision winner, will be one of the judges on the show. However, she is not the only familiar face in the jury.
On the show, the other two judges will be Tim Bendzko and Henning Wehland. Tim Bendzko is known to Eurovision fans for being in the jury during Unser Song für Malmö. He was also part of the jury vote for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
Henning Wehland participated in this year’s national final, Unser Song für Malmö, as frontman of the group Söhne Mannheims, who placed third in the show.
The Voice Kids will be aired from 5th April on SAT.1.
