The Belgian entry for the next Eurovision Song Contest will be released on 10th March during a press conference. RTBF, this year’s broadcaster responsible for the Belgian participation in Eurovision already internally selected Loïc Nottet.
Nottet is a young artist who was the runner up in the third series of The Voice of Belgium. He gained a growing fan base shortly after appearing on the show. His most memorable performance on the show was his cover version of Rihanna’s Diamonds.
The video-clip for the Belgian entry was recorded in London. This year, Belgium will compete in the first semi-final on 19th May. Last year, the country failed to qualify to the final when Axel Hirsoux sang Mother.
