The tele-voting is now closed. Still we need some time before we know who will go to Vienna. Right now, Satin Circus is leading by the so called Civil Jury, which only counts to 10%!

Angelo de Nile – All For Victory
The last song in competition. Angelo de Nile sings this particular rock ballad song. He is clad in a Roman/Greek robe and is surrounded by warriors. His voice is very strong however there are a lot of performers on stage. Surely he can’t take them all if he heads to Vienna.

Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät – Aina Mun Pitää
It is time for the mega hot favourites and yes I think they’re going to win. The Finns are highly tempted to choose the Punk Rock Band. The group made up of musicians with intellectual disability is singing a hard metal song. The act itself lasts under two minutes. Of course their vocals remind us of Lordi. They can win and attract lots of media attention in Vienna! PKN receive a very warm applause by the audience.

Jouni Aslak – Lions And Lambs
7th song is a typical well rehearsed Eurovision song. It is a bit repetitive but the vocals are very good. Parts of the song resembles Molly’s Children of the Universe. Good try by Jouni but he should consider himself lucky that he made it so far!

February 28, 20158:54 pm

Some more talking with the rest of the contenders who already went on stage. 3 more acts to go including Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät (PKN), the Punk Rock Band that received lots of media attention both in Finland and across Europe.

Opera Skaala – Heart of Light
Another contender for tonight. Finland proves to have a very strong national final this year. This act reminds us of Romania 2013 but it is even stronger. As the stage name depicts, it’s an opera dance act with the dancers clad in classic operatic costumes. The vocals are top notch but not sure if this is received well in Vienna!

Norlan El Misionario – No Voy A Llorar Por Ti
It’s time for some Spanish tune resembling Bailando. Norlan is situated on a bench doing some rap while playing a mix of a Spanish and reggae tune. It isn’t bad at all and I think it deserves a top 3 position!

Järjestyshäiriö – Särkyneiden Sydänten Kulmilla
Now it’s time for a very up-tempo pop rock song. The lead singer of the band interacts well with the camera and the audience cheering for this song. It is a catchy Finnish song and am curious if this one had to be performed in English. Good shot but there are other contenders for the right to fly the Finnish flag in Vienna!

Solju – Hold Your Colours
The third song of the night is completely different from the rest. Solju can really stand out from the rest with an Enya wanna-be style song. However, I can’t see this one scoring high in Eurovision if selected.

Satin Circus – Crossroads
One of the hot favourites to pack the bags to Vienna. The song is very catchy and fresh. This one can easily be a summer hit. The group is presenting a band based act. The revolving camera shots add more energy to this song. The vocals are good and some of us will look forward to watch again this act at the end of the show!

Shava – Ostarilla
A very strong act by Shava. An uptempo song with Arab tune. The whole act is based on a bus with the singer going inside the bus full of dancers clad in Western and Middle Eastern costumes. A very colourful act but Jon Ola Sand (who is in the audience) will take note if this wins. There are more than 6 performers and that’s a big NO in Eurovision!

Edward Montebello
February 28, 20158:15 pm

Off we go with song no. 1

Edward Montebello
February 28, 20158:13 pm

The tele-voting numbers are being shown for each act. Remember if you are in Finland you can vote for your favourite to win the ticket to Vienna. Tele-voting counts 90% of the overall result!
