Tonight the popular Portuguese show, Festival da Canção will kick-off in Lisbon. The winner of this festival will eventually represent Portugal in Vienna.
Six acts will be competing in the first semi-final and three of them will advance to Saturday’s final. Two of the qualifying acts will be chosen by tele-voting while the third will be picked up by the jury. For the first time in years, Festival da Canção will have a live band.
Festival da Canção will be aired on RTP 1 and RTP I at 22:00 CET. A webcast will be available here. Tonight’s show will be hosted by Joana Teles and Jorge Gabriel.
