It’s one of the entries that’s getting less attention this year, but tonight, Leonor Andrade has performed her entry Há Um Mar Que Nos Separa on Portuguese television. She did so during Got Talent Portugal.

She however didn’t perform her song alone. She was joined by the composer, Miguel Gameiro. Gameiro himself is a famous Portuguese singer with a lot of success there. For Vienna, Leonor will still be going solo, but it’s still interesting to see how these two connect together.

Portugal is hoping to qualify for the Eurovision final for the first time since 2010. Their last three acts didn’t manage to make it through, with Suzy coming rather close in 2014, but only just losing out to San Marino’s Valentina Monetta. There’s not much hope for the first Portuguese victory ever (they’re currently in last with bookmakers), but perhaps a final is possible? What do you think?

You can watch the performance HERE.

Media Liaison: One of the founding members at escXtra. I'm the Dutchman who loves every little idiotic Eurovision fact there is. I usually listen to a lot of Eurovision music, but when I'm not, I listen to country music, schlager and pop, but mostly artists like Tina Turner, Emma, Ilse DeLange and Helene Fischer. On escXtra, you can find me doing pretty much anything that needs doing: Interviews, liveblogs or just your daily portion of news!
