Petra Mede and Måns Zelmerlöw to host 2016?

Swedish tabloid Expressen has reported that this year’s Eurovision winner and 2013 host are in the lead to be on stage again, this time as a presenting couple, when the contest moves back to Sweden next year. Måns and Petra seem to have all in their favour, as other big names like Sanna Nielsen are, reportedly, out of the run. Sarah Dawn Finer may be involved, though the exact role remains unclear.
According to Expressen, a trustworthy inside source from SVT has stated that nothing has been put to paper yet, but that Mede and Zelmerlöw are the broadcaster’s preferred names. Zelmerlöw’s management refused to comment. Petra Mede has been contacted for comment but has yet to reply.
Both Måns and Petra have Eurovision hosting (or Eurovision-related) experience, having held the responsibility for Melodifestivalen and the 2013 contest, respectively.
Final confirmation is not expected to come for a while, as the main focus for now, according to Christer Björkman, is put everything in place to arrive at the kind of Eurovision that we want to have.
