The official theme song of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been officially revealed. Sung by last year’s 2nd placed representative Krisia Todorova, the song is called ‘#Discover’ which is also the slogan of this year’s Junior Contest.

Along with Krisia on lead vocals, the backing vocals are provided by the Bulgarian National Radio Children’s Choir, made up of 45 singers aged between 6 and 17. The song was written by Evgeni Dimitrov, Vasko Ivanov-Dexter, Gordon Bonello and Matt Muxu. The songwriters described the song as “cool.”

The song is a mixture between pop music, classical music, rock and folk instrumentals.

‘#Discover’ will be performed by all of this year’s competitors during the interval of the contest in Sofia on Saturday 21 November. You can listen to the song below. What do you think?

Content Manager: In the real world I work in PR and I love pizza, dogs and gin. When it comes to Eurovision I can be quite a cynical fan at times, but I can always be won over by a killer key-change.
