Prepare a better show
Same book, same fiasco. Jemini told the interviewer that the BBC was not interested in staging the show as the other countries did. Pyros, choreographies, dresses and all: they didn’t even think of reminding the artists to buy the ear monitor for the show, thinking it was obvious Jemini were going to be in charge of that!
A bit of effort has been done during the last two years, but a lot must be improved. The BBC team should shift away from the usual X Factor-like show to a more sophisticated 25-cameras-are-on-stage-use-them-all thing.
And again: no gimmicks. It’s the United Kingdom, not Moldova (no offence, but the Moldovan brand is more easily adaptable to gimmicks. They can, the UK can’t). People have been laughing to Bianca’s lit up vagina, let’s hope someone will learn from that.
