Earlier today, the potential Moldovan candidates for Eurovision 2016 performed their songs in front of a panel of judges, and as a result, 24 semi-finalists have now been chosen.

Among the familiar names competing were Natalia Barbu, who came 10th for Moldova in 2007, this time competing as part of ELLE, Litesound who represented Belarus in 2012, and the ever-present Doinita Gherman, back for another attempt.

All of the above made it into the final 24. Here is the complete line-up:

  • Russu Emilia – I am not the same
  • Katherine & Litesound – Imagine

  • Rodica & Ivan Aculov – Stop Lying
  • Big Flash Sound – Cînd vrei
  • Doinita Gherman – Irresistible
  • Pașa Valeria – Save Love
  • Lidia Isac – Falling Stars
  • Viola – In The Name of Love
  • Cristina Pintilie – Picture of Love
  • Valentin Uzun – Mine
  • DoReDoS – FunnyFolk
  • Max Fall ft. Dan Vozniuc & Malloy – Game Lover
  • Maxim Zavidia – La La Love
  • Diana Brescan – Til The End
  • Chris Maroo – Tonight
  • ELLE – Tare
