Highway have finally revealed the entry for the upcomng Eurovision Song Contest. Four member band Highway have presented The Real Thing as their entry.

Of the four members, Bojan Jovović already has some Eurovision experience, as he was also in No Name back in 2005. According to the band, their 2016 entry is something completely different. They also say it’s the sort of song we haven’t seen in Eurovision before.

The composer of the song said this was a conscious choice, although he’s never actually followed Eurovision before. And without judging the song: It shows. It really is something we haven’t quite seen before. Highway has chosen to sing their song in English, after two years of songs in Montenegrin. Those two Montenegrin entries both qualified for the final.
