Samra Rahimli, aged 21, will represent Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song “Miracle”.

Whilst the song will not be unveiled until the forthcoming weekend, Samra has some kind of form when it comes to attempting to represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision. She previously participated in the Eurovision national selection in 2012 and became one of the public’s favorite as the youngest contestant, aged just 16.

Since then she gained some more performing experience in two different editions of The Voice – Turkey, in 2015, and Azerbaijan, in 2016.

According to eurovision.tv:

The artist and the song were selected internally based on closed ballot decision by ITV and the opinion survey of more than 100 music and television industry experts and some Eurovision fans from over 35 European countries.

For now, you can enjoy her cover of Say Something from the Final of The Voice Azerbaijan!

Technical Lead: I am a huge pop music fan and I love Rihanna, Years & Years, Sia, Zara Larsson and Sam Smith. However, more importantly, I love Eurovision. Melodifestivalen is my favourite National Final and if things look out of place on the website, it's most definitely my fault.
