Jelena Tomasevic, who we all remember as the Serbian artist that represented Serbia on home soil in Belgrade has released a new song.

The song entitled ‘Zivot u Koferima’ can be described as a Balkan pop song with plenty of modern bits that would fit perfectly into any music scene in the Balkan region and Eastern Europe.

The song follows a new direction that Jelena is taking focusing on a more pop sound, and moving away from her Balkan ballad roots which she is very well recognised for. Just take a look at her 2008 entry ‘Oro’.

The video for her latest single oozes beauty, fashion and showcases the beauty of parts of Serbia. Needless to say, Jelena and the colour red work very well together.

What do you all think of Jelena’s Latest single. We would love to hear your comments about her single, and would you want Jelena to make a return to Eurovision? Let us know

I first watched the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, and fell in love with Natalia Barbu and 'Fight'. I have a love for ethnic music, particular Armenian, Arabic, Turkish and Greek and one day in the near future look forward to an Armenian win. Its a pleasure to be a part of Escxtra.com and continue my passion for Eurovision
