RTS announces acts for Pesma za Evroviziju ’24

The Grand Final will take place on March 2 following the conclusion of two Semi-Finals

RTS the national broadcaster for Serbia has confirmed the artists and songs that will take part in Pesma za Evroviziju ’24. The live final of the selection will take place on March 2 with the winner representing the Balkan nation next May in Malmö, Sweden.

Pesma za Evroviziju ’24 artists confirmed

A total of 235 songs were submitted to RTS for consideration, a new record for the Serbian national final. Overall, 28 acts will participate in RTS’ Pesma za Evroviziju ’24 as decided by the selection committee. The Head of Entertainment at the Serbian national broadcaster RTS, Mrs. Olivera Kovačević, confirmed that the Serbian selection will take place in early March. Once again, the national final will consist of two Semi-Finals and a Grand Final. The dates of the shows are as follows:

  • Semi-Final 1 – February 27
  • Semi-Final 2 – February 29
  • Grand Final – March 2

The acts and their songs are as follows:

  • Bojana x David – ‘No No No’
  • Breskvica – ‘Orlovo gnezdo’
  • Chai – ‘Sama’
  • Durlanski – ‘Muzika’
  • Dušan Kurtić – ‘Zbog tebe živim’
  • Džordži – ‘Luna park’
  • Filarri – ‘Ko je ta žena?’
  • Filip Baloš – ‘Duga je noć’
  • Hristina – ‘Bedem’
  • Hydrogen – ‘Nemoguća misija’
  • Iva Lorens – ‘Dom’
  • Ivana Vladović – ‘Jaka’
  • Kabala – ‘Vavilon’
  • Kat Dosa – ‘Tajni začin’
  • Keni nije mrtav – ‘Dijamanti’
  • Konstrakta – ‘Novo, bolje’
  • Lena Kovačević – ‘Zovi me Lena’
  • M.IRA – ‘Percepcija’
  • Marko Mandić – ‘Dno’
  • Martina Vrbos – ‘Da me voliš’
  • Milan Bujaković – ‘Moje tvoje’
  • Nadia – ‘Sudari’
  • Nemanja Radošević – ‘Jutra bez tebe’
  • Saša Báša & Virtual Ritual – ‘Elektroljubav’
  • Teya Dora – ‘Ramonda’
  • Yanx – ‘Kolo’
  • Zejna – ‘Najbolja’
  • Zorja – ‘Lik u ogledalu’

Among the list includes Eurovision 2022 representative, Konstrakta, as well as previous national finalists in Filarri, Filip Baloš, Nadia, Zejna and Zorja. Also taking part is Teya Dora, a viral sensation in 2023 with over 55 million YT views for hit single, ‘Džanum’.

Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest

Serbia has participated a total of 15 times as an independent nation since 2007. So far they have scored three top 5 results. This includes a win in 2007 with Marija Šerifović’s ‘Molitva’, as well as third place for Željko Joksimović in 2012 with his song ‘Nije ljubav stvar’ and fifth place for Konstraktra in 2022 for, ‘In corpore sano’.

Earlier this year, Serbia selected Luke Black with his song, ‘Samo mi se spava’ as the winner of Pesma za Evroviziju ’23. During the Liverpool hosted contest, Luke placed 24th with 30 points.
