First artists announced for Eurovision in Concert 2022

More artists to be revealed soon

After two-year break, Eurovision in Concert returns to AFAS Live on Saturday, 9th of April. The hosts for the evening have been announced alongside the first three acts.

Guests from Albania, Belgium and Ireland confirmed

So far three artists have been confirmed to perform in Amsterdam. The first artist announced was Ronela Hajati, who will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. She won the 60th edition of Festivali i Këngës last December and got granted the right to represent Albania in Turin with the song “Sekret”.

Travelling to The Netherlands’ from the neighbouring country is Jérémie Makiese, who will represent Belgium in Turin. Belgium was the first country to announce their 2022 representative back in September. Jérémie’s entry is yet to be released, but on Instagram he suggests we don’t have to wait for much longer. Currently on his Instagram bio he is playfully stating that the cooking of the song is 99.8 percent done.

It also has just been announced that Ireland’s Brooke will also perform in Amsterdam. She won Ireland’s Eurosong 2022 with “That’s Rich” and will now bring the money guns to Amsterdam.

The Eurovision 2021 host Edsilia Rombley and Cornald Maas will host the evening. The duo last hosted the concert in 2018. In 2019, a total of 28 competing artists performed in The Netherlands’ capital. On their social media, the organizers of Eurovision in Concert promise to reveal more artists for the 2022 concert in the upcoming weeks.
