LPS to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with “Disko”

Slovenia has decided!

Tonight Slovenia chose their representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. LPS will wave the Slovenian flag in Turin and will compete with the song “Disko”.

Twelve songs competed in tonight’s final and the winners was decided by the Slovenian public together with six thematical juries. The winner LPS was the favourite of the televoters and finished second in the jury vote. The jury liked Batista Cadillac the best. LPS was one of the four acts that qualified to the EMA through the EMA Freš.

  11. Luma – ‘All In’
  12. Batista Cadillac – ‘Mim pravil’

Slovenia will compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. Last time we saw Slovenia in the grand final of Eurovision was in 2019 when Zala Kralj and Gašper Šantl finished 15th in the final with “Sebi”. Last year in Rotterdam, Ana Soklič failed to qualify to the final with “Amen”.
