Andrew Lambrou releases “Electrify” for Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022

Another Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022 song dropped on February 11th as Andrew Lambrou released his bilingual entry “Electrify”.

The Sydney-based singer-songwriter Andrew Lambrou has been gaining fame through posting impressive singing covers that have consistently gained up to two million views. Andrew has over 1.5 million followers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube collectively. His Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022 entry “Electrify” is written by Andrew himself together with Joseph DeLahoyde, Nick DeLahoyde and Timm DeLoyhde, who also form the EDM trio D.E.L. The bilingual song mixes English and Spanish.

Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022

Many of the Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022 entries have been revealed over the past week. First Voyager released their 80’s electro pop meets metal anthem “Dreamer” as Jude York released the inspirational “I Won’t Need to Dream“. Last week, Isaiah Firebrace and Evie Irie released their song “When I’m With You“, Paulini premiered “We Are One” and Jaguar Jonze dropped “Little Fires“. Earlier this week Charley released her entry “I Suck At Being Lonely“.

Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022, hosted by Joel Creasey and Myf Warhurst, will be broadcast live on SBS on 26 February 2022 at 20:30 AEDT (9:30am GMT/10:30am CET). The Eurovision 2019 televote winners KEiiNO will return to Australia after their successful 2019 tour of the country and be the special international guest act. Australia’s most recent representative Montaigne will also perform during the show. The eleven artists will compete for the chance to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy.
