Valentina Monetta was picked internally by San Marino RTV (SMRTV) to represent them in Baku with “The Social Network Song” (originally titled “Facebook Uh, Oh, Oh (A Satirical Song)”). San Marino didn’t qualify from their semifinal, finishing in 14th place in Semifinal 1 with 31 points, their best result to date and included 10 points from Albania.

Valentina Monetta was picked internally by SMRTV to represent them in Malmö with “Crisalide”. It is written by Ralph Siegel again, with Italian lyrics by Mauro Balestri and English lyrics being written again by Timothy Touchton. The entry is yet to be unveiled by SMRTV.

Semifinal 2 - 16 May
San Marino will perform in the first half of the second semifinal. Valentina Monetta will present her song "Crisalide" (Chrysalis) in either the English or Italian language.
