Azerbaijan’s new look national selection is set to get underway this month, and castings for the show will be starting very soon. Contestants will compete over a seven week period, with the winner(s) representing the ‘land of fire’ in Copenhagen.
Director General of iTV Jamil Guliyev explains:
“The program will present a bright show and give the viewers unforgettable feelings. Our objective is not only to choose the best vocalist for participation in Eurovision but also to offer a new entertaining format of the program of talents. Music and humor will become the main components of every program of the Big stage project and famous and popular hosts will be another pleasant surprise”
The audition phase will take place in the following cities:
9th January – Sumgait and Gence (Ganja)
10th January – Lenkeran and Yevlax
11th January – Sirvan and Seki
12th January – Quba
13th January – Baku
