Rehearsal review

Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:

And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:

Stefania has kept the green screen effects for her performance. By switching to shots from the back of the stage, they make sure they don’t get a 100% music video appearance. When the backing dancers go for the invisible effects, we can see some shadows and outlines. That may be down to some camera angles, as the second runthrough is much better. The contours are hardly visible there. They return for the third performance, so there’s a bit of work.

The bodysuit Stefania is wearing does not fade away with the green screen effects today. Stefania has all of her camera cues on point. During her first go, she throws many winks into the camera. The shots are all really clever, as they give the dancers enough time to change in and out of their green screen outfits. For the first run, we see a minor scare or thought on Stefania’s face just before they lift her off the stairs. She corrects that for runs two and three.

With the choreography in place, Stefania is vocally on point. In her first run the big note is on the edge, but she manages to pick up in the last two runs. If there were concerns about her vocals, she has taken them away over her rehearsals.
