Copenhagen 2014

Mei Finegold to Copenhagen!

Mei Finegold has been selected to represent Israel in Copenhagen. The 31 year old was chosen internally by IBA, as was reported tonight by Walla, an Israeli news website.
Finegold rose to fame back in 2009, when she participated in the seventh series of Kokhav Nolad. She was one of the final three, together with Vladi Blayberg, who participated in Kdam 2013. Finegold eventually finished in third place.
She can be described as a rock singer, with alternative and pop influences. Her song is not known as of yet, as IBA has chosen to hold a national final in March where Finegold will perform either three or four songs. One of those will then fly the Israeli flag in Copenhagen.
