The artists and songs taking part in this year’s Irish national final will be premiered on The Mooney Show on RTE Radio at the beginning on next month, RTE has announced.
The songs will be played on Thursday 6 February, and are usually commented on by Derek Mooney and a couple of ‘experts’ from the world of Eurovision.
Ireland have stuck with the mentor system again this year, marking four years of the format. The national final itself takes place as part of the ‘Late Late Show’ on 28 February.
