Belmondo: “This is a pretty cool, groovy song” [Interview]

Belmondo are a popular Hungarian band, present on the Hungarian music scene for over eight years now. Belmondo are Zoltán Czutor, László Szabó, Viktor Paczári, Zsolt Derecskei, and Lőrinc Borbély. They took part in the very first edition of A Dal in 2012, when they were an interval act, and they performed their cover of “Dschinghis Khan”, the German Eurovision entry from 1979.

Belmondo are entering A Dal for the first time as contestants, and their entry is “Miért ne higgyem”. We met up with Zoltán and Zsolt in Budapest, spoke to them about their band, their careers, as well as their entry in A Dal, and their Eurovision favourites.
