The Dutch girlband who represented their homeland at the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest have been revealed as special guests in this year’s Eurovision in Concert. The band who came 13th in Bergen with their entry ‘Alles Heeft Ritme’ will reunite for one night only after deciding to split up in 1989. They follow Swedish legend Carola as the special guests of the Amsterdam concert.
So far three artists have confirmed their plans to appear at the event. These include Albania’s Hersi Matmuja, Austria’s Conchita Wurst and for the third time San Marino’s Valentina Monetta. This year’s event is poised to be as busy as the last few years with many delegations set to announce their plans to appear at what has now become something of a staple of the Eurovision pre-season.
This year’s event will once more be hosted by Dutch commentator Cornald Maas along with three time Dutch representative Sandra Reemer. Tickets are still available, but are expected to sell out soon and can be purchased here.
