Reigning Eurovision champion Emmelie de Forest will be a special guest at Malta’s national selection next Friday and Saturday, where she will sing Only Teardrops as well as her upcoming single Rainmaker.
Rainmaker has been labelled the ‘Official Theme Song for Eurovision 2014’ which one assumes will be likened to We Got The Power, which was performed by Loreen at last year’s Grand Final in Malmö.
If tradition continues, then it is possible Emmelie will open this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with Only Teardrops in Semi Final #1 and then go on to perform the theme song at the Final.
Alongside Emmelie, Ukraine’s Maria Yaremchuk, Switzerland’s SeBAlter and San Marino’s Valentina Monetta will also perform in Malta next weekend.
