Your guide to the live shows

In little over three hours Europe will kick off another national final evening, with four countries airing shows tonight. In Sweden and Hungary viewers will be picking entries to make it through to the final, whilst in Iceland it’s time for the public to choose their 2014 representative. Lithuania continue their marathon national selection process for another week! Here’s how tonight will work:
19:00 CET – Lithuania
Four acts are left in Lithuania, competing to make it through to the next round. They are:

  • Vaidas Baumila
  • Monika Linkytė
  • Vilija Matačiūnaitė
  • Mia

20:00 – Sweden (Melodifestivalen Semifinal 3)
Another eight hopefuls go to battle in Göteborg, hoping to get one of two places in the final. Two tickets for the ‘second chance’ are also up for grabs. Competing are:

  1. Outtrigger – Echo
  2. EKO – Red
  3. Oscar Zia – Yes we can
  4. Shirley Clamp – Burning alive
  5. State of Drama – All we are
  6. CajsaStina Åkerström – En enkel sång
  7. Ace Wilder – Busy doin’ nothin
  8. Dr. Alban ft. Jessica Folker – Around the world

20:25 Hungary (A Dal Semifinal 1)
Just 2 minutes later Hungary begin their semifinal stage, with nine songs taking to the stage tonight. Two will bep ut straight into the final by the jury, whilst the other seven will then rely on the votes of the public to decide the remaining pair of tickets to the final. Lining up tonight are:

  1. Bogi – We All
  2. Depresszió – Csak A Zene
  3. Gigi Radics – Catch Me
  4. Group’N’Swing – Retikül
  5. Joni – Waterfall
  6. Leslie Szabó – Hogy Segíthetnék?
  7. Mystery Gang – Játssz Még Jazzgitár
  8. New Level Empire – The Last One
  9. Viktor Király – Running Out Of Time

20:45 Iceland (Söngvakeppnin Final)
Then it’s up to Iceland to decide the winner of Söngvakeppnin 2014. Six acts are left in the running, and two will be voted through to a superfinal before singing again to decide the winner. One of these acts will be in Copenhagen:

  2. Ásdís María Viðarsdóttir – Amor
  3. Sigríður Eyrún Friðriksdóttir – Lífið kviknar á ný
  4. Gissur Páll Gissurarson – Von
  5. Greta Mjöll Samúelsdóttir – Eftir eitt lag
  6. Pollapönk – Enga fordóma
