Copenhagen 2014

A Dal Semi 2 – review, gallery, interviews

The second semi final of A Dal was held last night in Budapest, where we got to know the remaining four finalists this year. Nine songs took part once again – two of them qualified for the final after the votes of the jury (these two were Kállay Saunders, and Fool Moon), while the remaining seven had to go to the televoting round. The viewers votes decided that Dénes Pál, and Honeybeast are also going to be in the final of A Dal.

It was announced that slightly less than a 100,000 votes were received during the televoting in the first semi final. Other news in last night’s show were regarding the online acoustic voting. The act that hasn’t qualified for the final, but scores the most points in the online acoustic voting will be the opening act of the final of A Dal 2014. That singer, or that band will open the show with the acoustic version of their entry.

We met all the qualifiers straight after the show has ended, and asked them about their performance, their personal favourites, as well as their expectations in the next Saturday’s final. Here is what they told us:

We also met up with Marge and with Lilla Polyák (she took part in A Dal last year as well with the fan favourite “Valami más”), and spoke to them about their performances, and asked who their favourites are. Check out what they told us:

Here is also a short gallery of what happened in last night’s show:
