Oh yes! We’ve chosen Pasha Parfeni and I am EXCITED. I already really enjoyed his 2012 Eurovision entry, but this is one massive leap forward. Moldova are kind of an anonymous Eurovision country. Like… I don’t know (m)any fans from there, not many people go to the national final, but they sometimes have absolute gems for us and this is easily one of their best ever. With the flute and the traditional sounds, this is actually giving me GO_A vibes. And that’s not a bad thing. Stage this well and we’re in for a treat in May.

I’m very glad to see that Pasha is first in our rankings! His song is just as good as his 2012 entry, which I loved, and we can always expect a good staging from Moldova, especially with a song like this. It has good vocals, a great instrumental, and is just catchy overall. I hope Moldova makes the right choice!

Moldova never fail to bring memorable moments to Eurovision. For a small country, they make themselves heard on the biggest music stage Europe has to offer and that is the best part of the contest. Pasha has kicked on another level since 2012 and is showcasing the best of Moldova’s culture and folk music in a modern day ‘Hora Din Moldova’. I am easily baited by a flute break and this gives me plenty!
