Last night Ireland’s Eurosong got underway. After a night of songs and some drama, the winners were finally announced:
Can-linn ft. Kasey Smith with the positive and celtic-felt tune “Heartbeat”.
After some confusion with the votes, it was Can-linn that won with 114 points and Eoghan Quigg’s “The Movie Song” coming second with 102 points.
Straight after the Late Late Show finished, we were there to congratulate the winners!
We got to chat with Kasey and her mentor, Hazel Kaneswaren, about their feelings from the beginning of this Eurosong journey and what the future holds in Copenhagen:
