Moldovan television TRM has whittled fown the 61 submissions to just 24 acts who will take part in the next round of the country’s Eurovision Song Contest 2014 national selection.
The semifinals will take place on 11 and 13 March, with the final on 15. Former Eurovision entrant Nelly Ciobanu was a member of the jury, and had this to say about the auditions:
There are several brand-new voices that we have not heard and not personally have never me… there were some singers with hardly any diffrence from the studio to live versions.
